Nature & ecotherapy days

A structured day outdoors

Four days a year. Meditative walks, sensory awareness, guided nature therapy, shared meals. For a true break in the great outdoors.

The benefits of a structured day outdoors

A structured day—walking, guided mindfulness, short exercises, group discussion. Ecotherapy is a practical approach to reintegrating the body into the living world.

Not a tourist hike. A coherent mix of walking, guided mindfulness, short exercises, group discussion.

The ideal format for those who cannot commit to a full weekend.

What is a typical day like?

Detailed schedule

  • 9:30 a.m. – Check-in on site (location provided upon registration, usually in the Luberon or near Aix).
  • 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. — Meditative walk + sensory awareness exercises (touch, listening, smells). Progressive practice—silence is encouraged during certain parts of the walk, but not required.
  • 12:00 PM–1:30 PM – Shared lunch. A cold vegetarian meal prepared for the group, to be eaten together at a chosen location. Open discussion.
  • 1:30–3:30 p.m. — Short postural practice adapted to the terrain (gentle outdoor yoga), followed by guided ecotherapy exercises (connecting with a tree, prolonged observation of a detail, free writing).
  • 3:30–4:30 p.m. – Closing circle. Everyone shares what resonated with them during the day. Short readings.
  • 4:30 p.m. – Official end. Opportunity to stay a while longer and share a cup of tea on site.

FAQ

Do you have to be athletic to keep up?

Moderate walking (8–12 km). Prerequisite: no medical conditions that would prevent participation.

What if it rains?

Light rain: we’ll go ahead (wear appropriate gear). Severe weather: postponed.

How many people per day?

8 to 12 people maximum. This ensures a quality group experience without weighing down the group dynamics.

Are there walks in the winter?

Yes. One day per season, including winter. The program is adapted to the conditions (shorter walking times, indoor activities if necessary).

How is this different from a weekend retreat?

Nature Day: more relaxed and accessible. Retreat: a deep immersion over 2–3 days. They complement each other.
