Clarity

This summer was VAJRA. Vajra is the word used in Buddhist wisdom to designate one of the qualities of space: its sharpness, its purity, its blue transparency, its directness… its clarity.

Space

A lot of time spent in the mountains for me again this year, at altitude, in snow, cold and rock, in immediate contact with the space of this world and the preciousness of my passing life. A stronger awareness of my short time on this earth and of the need to give what remains of this life a profound meaning, to aspire more than ever to a free life, an awakened life. The direction I needed to take my future became even clearer, more urgent and more immediate. Learning, nourishing myself and practicing, not to accumulate knowledge, but to open myself ever more to the possibility of being completely alive, and to transmit a way of seeing, a clear and direct perspective on our potential for life.

Simplicity

With clarity comes simplicity, and the confidence that not everything has to be complicated or difficult. On the contrary, it’s enough to dare to venture into unfamiliar territory, to take one step and then another, for our human qualities to unfold and show us the way. In this sense, the spiritual path is very similar to climbing a mountain, the movement of the crampon as it snags the shiny ice or crunches on the rock, repeated hour after hour. A simple, slow, patient movement, devoid of all glamour, yet opening up, when you lift your head, to virgin spaces that fill the heart and stand on their own.

Teaching

Like my spiritual, athletic and sensitive path, my teaching is also uncluttered, aimed at what’s essential: the heart, the innate intelligence, the desire for life. It’s spontaneous and transversal, blending technique, theory and experience, experimentation. It generates confidence and possibility. It relies on my vajra mind, accustomed to seeing the lines, making the connections and mirroring them. It rests on my deep intuition that everything in the living world seeks freedom and can attain it.
